Welcome To Mullins Farm!

Ride One And Feel The Wind Beneath Your Feet

Mullins Farm is located in the beautiful mountains of southwest Virginia in the town of Clintwood.   Our family has been blessed and has had the joy of loving and training a few of the top gaited horses in the country.   We specialize in quality trail/pleasure, hunting, competitive trail, and endurance horses.   During your visit, you can take a trail ride onto some of the most breathtaking mountains in the Appalachians, which are over 3,000 feet above sea level.   While you are in the area, take advantage of all the wonderful places to visit like the Ralph Stanley Museum, Breaks Interstate Park, John W. Flannagan Dam & Reservior, just to name a few.

We have horses available at our "Old Florida Villa" Horse Farm located on Lake Weir, Florida as well.

Our Breeding Program at Mullins Farm is to produce superb gaited endurance horses.   We are utilizing several in depth studies regarding hybrid vigor, spleen size, heart size, and lung size to potentially enhance the percentage of slow twitch fibers in our horses.   This scientific theory is being used on our farm to develop horses that will excel in competitive trail and endurance riding.   A specific breed standard has been established by the American Gaited Endurance Horse Association to to produce horses with the ability to perform an even four-beat gait barefooted at a minimum of 10 m.p.h. with clarity.   These horses should give riders a competitive smooth gaited alternative with speed in the sport of endurance.   The horses are being bred for gait, forward speed, docility, conformation, and versatility which will make them an all-around great companion for the anyone!

"The price of success is hard work, dedication to the job at hand, and the determination that whether we win or lose, we have applied the best of ourselves to the task at hand." -Vince Lombardi
